Ahhh, those lazy Sunday mornings, the Times, a coffee and watching the world, as it flows by, Charlie’s is the place to enjoy all of the above. The bar was owned by ex footballer Mirku Braun whose nickname was Charlie. Unfortunately he died in 2002, but the bar has remained as popular as ever. Being one of the most popular bars to spend Saturday or Sunday mornings, it’s also THE place to see Croatia’s politicians, sportsmen, journalists and other esteemed members of Croatian society.
